Greetings! Andrew and I have started a new blog in hopes of sharing with you many pictures and happenings in our new life together. Since I love to take pictures and Andrew likes to journal, I thought we could work something out. :)

As of recently, we took a little road trip to Lanesboro Minnesota. The Bed and Breakfast capital of MN. They say it's the Cadillac of the Minnesota Bike Trail System. If you haven't been there, I highly recommend it! lots to do and see. I had been there before, but Andrew had not, so we had a great time just walking up and down the streets and visited a museum where Andrew knew the museum Tour guide from the airport. small world! After the museum we thought we would check out the tube rentals for tubing on the root river. Unfortunately we got there too late and the last run had gone out! oh well, maybe next time. This photo is one of the many Bed and Breakfast in Lanesboro! It was beautiful.

In other news, as some of you may know we will be pursuing a new career together! We start school August 23 for driving truck! yes, thats right Truck Driving. but not forever. Andrew has talked about driving truck for quite some time now and we also were praying about an opportunity to work together. He didn't want to leave me at home and I didn't want him to leave for weeks at a time, so I considered going with him. After talking with a man that drives truck at our church, prayer, and what seemed like endless hours of research, we were convinced that going as a team would be the best.

I was a bit hesitant at first, with the stereotype of what a real "truck driver" looks like... this overweight, unwashed, rude man with bad teeth, bad breath and willing to run over anything kind of attitude I was really turned off. But after hearing and seeing some trucker drivers that are slender, clean, courteous with good teeth and not wanting to run over anything, those stereotypes slowly diminished.

It is definitely a different lifestyle and not everybody can do it, but by the grace of God and some sweat and tears we just may get through it... and like it!

Overall, we have enjoyed our first 10 months of marriage and look forward to many years together in this union of one man and one woman in what God calls marriage!
